Dallas's Best Public & Airport Transportation

Dallas is a major center for business, medicine, science, and tourism. Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, you’ll want to spend some time exploring this amazing region. Fortunately, there are plenty of options for getting around.

Dallas Airport Transportation Options

If you are flying into Dallas Love Field (DAL) there are several options for getting to and from your hotel, off-site parking facility, or wherever you plan to visit.

Shuttles: Hotels and off-site parking facilities offer complimentary shuttle service to and from DAL. Renting a car? There’s a shuttle that will take you to the rental car area as well. If you’re planning to borrow an Avail car while in town, we’ll send our free shuttle out to take you and your baggage directly to your waiting vehicle at our lot.

Public transportation: Travelers can use the Love Link 524 bus to get from the airport to the Inwood/Love Field DART station, where they can board either the Green or Orange lines. The bus stations are located at both ends of the lower level ground transportation area.

Ride Shares: Ride share companies such as Uber and Lyft operate at Dallas Love Field. Pickups take place on the lower level, below the Baggage Claim. Follow the signs to “App Based Ride Service.”

Taxis: The taxi stand is at the transportation lower level, across from the terminal ramp, toward Parking Garage A.

Tip
Add your hotel or parking service number to your phone contacts before traveling. It will make it easier to coordinate a pickup once you’ve landed in Dallas.

Bike Sharing

While service is limited, it is possible to rent a bicycle in Dallas; Lime is a provider that currently operates in the city. You can get more information about pricing and passes by downloading the Lime app.

Tip
There have been some recent (as of October 2020) changes in ordinances regarding bike share companies operating in Dallas. More options may enter the market soon.
