For borrowers
Download the Avail app from your device’s app store.
Log in or sign up for an account. If you’re new to Avail, you’ll need to upload your driver’s license and follow steps to verify your identity before you’re eligible to borrow a car.
Tap the “borrow” icon (the one on the left) at the bottom of the screen.
Choose your location, reservation date(s) and time.
Select your desired vehicle from the list of available vehicles.
Review your reservation and payment info.
Confirm and pay for your reservation.
Pick up your car and enjoy your trip!
Did something happen that shifts your travel dates or causes you to cancel? There’s no fee for changing your reservation.
For owners
Download the Avail app from your device’s app store.
Log in or sign up for an account.
Tap the “Share” icon at the bottom of the screen to share your car. It’s the third icon in the row.
Add your bank account to ensure payments go to the right place.
Upload your driver’s license to withdraw funds as you earn them.
Choose whether you’ll let Avail facilitate repairs in case of damage or accident, or if you’ll handle it yourself.
Tap the “Share a new car” button and ensure your vehicle meets the eligibility requirements.
Find your nearest drop-off location (or one that makes sense for your situation).
Choose a sharing period, drop-off time and pick-up time. You must share your vehicle for at least five consecutive days.
Enter the requested vehicle information, starting with the VIN.
Follow the steps to complete your listing.
